About the writer
Techsurgence is written by me, Andrew Gorang. I've worked in BizOps at Greenlight and strategy for Mailchimp and Deloitte Consulting, where I served clients across the tech, financial services, and retail sectors. I also previously led product development at a children's consumer products startup (Babiators) and interned for a tech- and startup-focused law firm in Palo Alto (Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati), the U.S. State Department, and the South African Human Rights Commission. I attended Davidson College for undergrad and received my MBA and JD from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and Pritzker School of Law.
I live in Atlanta with my wife, daughter, and Corgi and nerd out about emerging tech, startups, and venture capital in my spare time
